Your application process

1) Complete the application.

Your admission and registration process follows these steps:

1. Submit your application
To apply, you submit your application and the required supporting documents to the Admission Officer, who will guide you through the process and support you with any questions along the way.

2. Application review
Your application is reviewed by the Program Committee to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements and that all required documents have been submitted.

3. Evaluation of the application file
The Committee evaluates your application file and supporting documentation, with particular attention to your academic background and overall academic profile.

4. Interview stage
Eligible applicants may be invited to participate in an online oral interview conducted by members of the Program Committee.

5. Additional language assessment (if required)
In some admission rounds, a written English language assessment may also take place as part of the evaluation process.

6. Final selection of candidates
After completing the evaluation process, the Program Committee prepares the final list of admitted candidates and, where applicable, a list of runners-up.

7. Enrolment at the University
Successful applicants complete the enrolment process at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, following the instructions provided by the Program Secretariat.

Applicants must meet the following admission requirements:

  • Hold a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent qualification that grants access to higher education studies in the country of graduation
  • Have completed at least the final two (2) years of secondary education on a full-time basis
  • Be graduates of:
    • recognised secondary schools abroad,
    • or recognised foreign schools legally operating in Greece
    • Applicants graduating from recognised foreign schools operating in Greece must:
      • not hold Greek nationality, nor have parents holding Greek nationality,
      • and have completed at least the final two (2) years of secondary education on a full-time basis
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
  • English language proficiency may be demonstrated through:
  • English as a native language,
  • recognised B2-level (or higher) certification,
  • degree studies completed in English,
  • or completion of the final two (2) years of secondary education in English
  • Submit a complete application file with all required supporting documents
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance in Biology, Physics and Chemistry

 

Additional qualifications positively considered during evaluation include:

  • SAT score of at least 1200,
  • IB score of at least 35,
  • ACT score of at least 27,
  • or A-Level qualifications in relevant subjects
  • Selection is based on:
    • academic performance,
    • curriculum vitae,
    • motivation letter,
    • and overall application profile
  •  

Applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents:

  • Copy of ID card or passport
  • High-school diploma (with official English translation where required)
  • Academic transcripts of the final year of secondary education (with official English translation)
  • Certificate of English language  B2 level
  • Motivation letter (up to 500 words)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • • Academic performance, including secondary school diploma, academic grades, and standardised admission or evaluation tests (SAT ≥ 1200, IB ≥ 35, ACT ≥ 27, A-Level IIA, or equivalent qualifications). The subjects evaluated include Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

€18,000

per Academic Year

The total tuition fee for the Programme is €90,000 for the full duration of studies.

Tuition fees are paid in ten (10) equal semester instalments of €9,000 each. The first instalment is paid upon enrolment in the Program, while the remaining instalments are paid before the beginning of each academic semester.

Payments are made to the Special Account for Research Funds of Aristotle University (ELKE AUTH), following the instructions provided by the Program Secretariat.

Tuition fees and payment arrangements may be revised following decisions of the Senate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Program Committee.
